A different level of praying

In 3 Nephi 19:24 Jesus taught the disciples a way to pray, that seem to yield a higher level of communion with the father. In 3 Nephi 19:25 it talks about how their countenance changed, and become more like that of the savior. There are a few factors in this prayer.

1. They were given what to pray, so that their words were not multiplied.
2. It seems that they prayed for a long time.
3. While they were praying, the savior prayed for them asking, that he could be in them, as his Father in Heaven, was in him.
